Falon our Fur baby

A recent addition to the Teubel household has been made. We have a baby! Well... a fur baby ;) A fur baby of the most adorable kind. Our little Falon is a mixed breed. His mother is 75% Timber Wolf and also part husky. His father is mostly Pittbul and part Malamute. We were wondering how this little pup would turn out to say the least. Would he look Pitt? Wolf? We found out soon enough that he looks like pure adorableness.

He is the most gentle little guy with spurts of playfulness and "toughness" which results in him wrestling with a teddy bear twice his size and the teddy bear wins. haha :) He is just a little guy... only 6 weeks old. The vet says he will grow into a fairly large dog. It is hard to believe when you look at his little squirming body, but genetics don't lie. Jaylin is super excited to have a big dog to wrestle around with. haha :) Boys....

He is a funny little guy as well as cute. It is hilarious because he tries so hard to play... but two seconds later he is sound asleep in varying positions. haha :) He will be a good dog :)

I will post more pics soon!.... As I have found myself completely and utterly in love with this puppy. :)

Behind the Title

Welp. I have decided to join the blogging world! Mainly because I am, as of this point of time, jobless as jobless can be and have more time on my hands than I would like. But also because I just love to write and have missed the feel of my fingers tapping away on the keys as my thoughts flow from my mind, down my arms, and into my flying fingers. What a rush. :)

So... the title of this blog... you are thinking..."Whhhaat... does this mean?" haha... I understand your thoughts. I would like to explain:

So after deciding that I in fact, WAS going to start blogging.... there came the time of wondering... "Ok, Molly. You want to blog....... about what though. You don't live in a exotic place, you have not adopted any children, you are not a human version of Ratatouille... in fact a rat could probably make a better batch of cinnamon rolls than me (My first batch set of the fire alarm not once... but TWICE)... and all you have for exotic pets are two estranged cats. One is a serial killer among the feline world. The other is a clingy fur ball who garbles out strange meowing sounds with his whiskers flattened on your window while you are trying eat breakfast."

So what do I blog about?

The answer is.... random bits of nothing and sometimes something. You as readers will never exactly know what your getting.

It's kind of like fishing, you see. You cast in the line and the hook floats under the dark blue abyss. You hook  something! What could it be?? A large mouth bass? A bluegill? Smeagol's ring, Precious? Perhaps an old shoe that some poor fisherman before you lost as he struggled to reel in that "big one". And then your realize... what you actually had snagged was your fishing partner that had been sitting by you on the boat just a minute before....."Ris? How..." hahahah... just kidding Marissa Ann.

The point is... sometimes my posts might be that large mouth bass: A great story of adventure!..Pictures and all! And then sometimes... you might get that old, worn, soggy shoe. A tale of how that morning I went out to get the mail.. and realized... that there was no mail for me that day. (Please note the exaggeration) ;)

But the BIGGER meaning of this Blog title: "Hook, Line, and Sinker: Go fishing with God and reel in Life" Is this:

In this thing we call "life", you never know what God has in store for you. Nobody does. You have to TRUST Him. Get in the boat. Paddle out onto that dark, blue abyss. And let that line FLY. Cast it out there as far as you can. And reel it in. See what God has for you. He always has something. Maybe it's that big, juicy catfish that will fill your bellies full of meat and strength. But maybe it's that old shoe. That old stinky shoe that He let you catch because the man that lost that shoe needed to hear the gospel. And YOU... yes YOU... are the one that God chose to bring that shoe back give him the Good News.

But also, besides random stories of joy, fun, sadness... whatever it may be. I hope to CHALLENGE you. Encourage you. Edify you. Why? Because we serve a great God. And together, we need to challenge each other to get to know Him better. Intimately. Be sold OUT for God. It's what this blue, abyss of life is all about.

So that is the story behind my Blog Title. Oh... and I also love to fish. So that is yet another dimension of the meaning behind this title..... But yet the question remains.......

Are you ready to fish? :)
